Terms & Conditions
1. General
By booking a service with Chicago Carpet Revival (“we,” “us”), you agree to the terms on this page. These guidelines help us serve you consistently, safely, and fairly, while protecting both your home or business and our team.
2. Scheduling and Access
We schedule your appointment in a time window and do our best to arrive within that window. If we’re delayed, we’ll communicate as soon as we can. Please ensure we have safe, timely access to your property, including gate codes, parking, and any building or unit instructions. If we’re unable to access the property within a reasonable time (typically 15 minutes), the visit may be treated as a no-show and may be subject to a fee.
3. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
We understand plans change. We simply ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.Appointments changed with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to $50, charged at our discretion to help cover reserved time and travel. If our technician arrives and can’t access the property, or the appointment is missed without required notice, the full or partial service amount may be charged.
4. Minimum Service Charge
Our current minimum charge for any visit is $125.This minimum may apply even if the actual work requested would total less than that amount, and it will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
5. Preparation and Property Conditions
To protect your belongings, please remove small, fragile, and personal items from the areas we’ll be cleaning before we arrive.Larger furniture moving may be limited, require advance notice, or involve an additional fee; we’ll discuss options with you ahead of time whenever possible.Let us know about any existing issues with carpet, rugs, upholstery, hardwood, or tile/grout (loose seams, ripples, fading, prior damage or repairs, finish issues, cracked tiles, etc.) so we can plan accordingly.
6. Cleaning Results and Limitations
Our goal is always to improve the look, feel, and freshness of your carpets, rugs, upholstery, hardwood floors, and tile/grout using professional equipment and methods. Some stains, damage, and odors are permanent, and we can’t guarantee complete removal, especially for severe, older, or previously treated issues. Cleaning can sometimes make pre-existing wear or damage more noticeable (ripples, seam separation, color variations, wear patterns, finish dullness, grout discoloration). We’re not responsible for these underlying conditions, but we’ll explain what we see and what you can reasonably expect.
7. Safety
Your safety and our team’s safety are very important to us. During service, we ask that pets and children be kept away from work areas, hoses, and equipment. Please ensure walkways and work spaces are reasonably clear and safe.If we find conditions we believe are unsafe for our staff or equipment, we may need to pause or decline service, and we’ll discuss the situation with you.
8. Payment Terms
Unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due at the time of service completion.Deposits may be requested for larger or specialty jobs; any deposit requirements will be shared with you up front.Accepted payment methods will be listed on our website and invoices. Returned or disputed payments may incur additional fees.
9. Damage, Liability, and Service Concerns
We treat your home or business with care, but we can’t take responsibility for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, improper installation, or structural issues that may cause problems during or after cleaning. We are not liable for carpet expansion, ripples, seam separation, or similar carpet behavior, nor for existing hardwood or tile/grout issues that become more visible after cleaning.
If you have any concerns after your appointment, please contact us within 24 hours so we can review and, where appropriate, work with you on a resolution in line with our service guidelines.
10. Products, Methods, and Sensitivities
We choose cleaning solutions and methods based on the material and condition of your surfaces, following industry best practices. If you have preferences or sensitivities (for example, related to pets, children, or allergies), please tell us in advance so we can discuss suitable options. If we use client-supplied products at your request, you accept responsibility for any outcomes related to those products.
11. Updates to These Terms
From time to time, we may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our services or policies. The version posted on our website at the time you book or receive service will apply to that appointment, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
